    Обобщающий урок по учебнику Кузовлева В.П. 8-й класс

     


    Цели: совершенствовать речевые (диалогическая, монологическая форма) и грамматические (would+ Infinitive) навыки; активизировать лексические навыки; обучить аудированию с целью понимания общего содержания.

    Оборудование: карточки с упражнениями; магнитофон, компьютер, доска, проектор, экран; упражнения с заданиями, выполненные на компьютере с помощью программы для презентаций «Power Point».

    Ход урока

    1. организационный момент-1 мин.

    Teacher: Good morning! Take your seats, please, and get ready for the lesson. If you are ready for the lesson, let’s. Today the theme of our lesson is "Travelling… what for?” It‘s a revision lesson. We’ve spoken a lot on how to spend your free time. Traveling is considered to be one of the best ways of spending holidays and it plays an important part in people’s entertainment.

    1. Warming –up-2 мин.

    Teacher: To begin with, let’s remember proverbs about traveling. Match two parts and translate them. Repeat it after me, please…

    Every country has the welcomer home.

    East of West, like home.

    There is no place its customs.

    The wider we roam home is best.

    1. Чтение высказывания с общим охватом содержания -3мин.

    Teacher: There is a saying about traveling. Let’s read and translate it.

    Do you share this opinion?


    Adventure is necessary for us all.

     It keeps people from growing stale

     and old; It develops our imagination,

     it gives us movement and change

     which are necessary to our life.

    Учащиеся пытаются перевести подчеркнутые выражения в высказывании, затем отвечают на вопрос.

    Why do people travel?


    1. Развитие речевых навыков-2 мин.

    Teacher: Why do people travel? Give your reasons… Now look at the scheme. Have we mentioned all the points?

    Going abroad: what is more pros or cons?

    Discover new places, miss your friends, help to become more educated person, improve knowledge pf foreign language, wait at airports, depend on the weather, have to think about accommodation and food, broaden your mind, many places are polluted, teach people about art and culture,  the beauty of many places. 

    Учащиеся дополняют свои ответы, используя схему.                 

    1. Активизация лексических навыков -3 мин.

    Teacher: Most people are fond of traveling abroad. What is more: pros or sons about going abroad? Let’s divide them into two groups.

    Учащиеся называют сначала аргументы в пользу путешествия за границу, а затем аргументы против.

      Teacher: Read the text and fill in the blanks with suitable words from the box.-5 мин.

    I like traveling because it (1)_______ my outlook and helps me to understand other cultures. I think that I’m already an experienced traveler. First of all, everything should be well planned. I’m not an adult yet so I travel with my parents. This year we decided to go to Britain. At first we went to a (2) _______ that helped us to arrange our journey.     1. Совершенствование речевых навыков(диалогическая форма)- 6 мин.

    Teacher: Now I want you to make up a dialogue according to the communicative task and exchange opinions with your friend. You’ve got 3 minutes to prepare your dialogue.

    You ad your classmate are discussing the best way of spending your summer holydays. You would like to have holydays with a difference and go abroad. But your friend thinks you’ll get the best of your holydays if you stay in your own country. Discuss the pros and cons of going abroad ad come to an agreement.
